Nelson Carvalheiro

grew up with his grandparents in a small farming village of central Portugal and soon learned to value the “Portuguese Gastronomical heritage”

For him the, greatest asset and beauty of Portugal is its relative anonymity in the world of travel. A small country in the corner of Europe, still rather unexplored, still raw, still true to its roots…Still proud of its ancestry and its character.

This is the Portugal that he loves and whose stories he portrays in The Portuguese Travel Cookbook.

Emanuele Siracusa

is a freelance photographer who is passionate about crafting engaging travel, culture and lifestyle related visual stories. Photography is both his greatest a passion and obsession, but most of all Emanuel seeks the narrative capabilities of the photograph.

Candid, truthful, and thought provoking…This is what Emanuel explored in the Portuguese Travel cookbook. To be able to tell the visual story of the land, the people and the food…

He is from Italy but currently lives in Portugal, a country he loves deeply.
